Limea-Fisma is an independent Italian company serving the international market of metal packaging for industrial use since 1947.

We are among the first Italian producers in this industry able to supply a wide range of type-approved packaging for the transportation of hazardous goods. More than half of our production is currently allocated to EU member states, Great Britain, the Middle East and Africa.

Our focus on innovation, quality and environment allowed Limea-Fisma to obtain the Quality Assurance System Certificate in the year 2000, the recertification for compliance under UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 in 2018 and the environmental management certification complying with ISO 14001:2015 in 2021.

FOUNDATION
In the early post-war years, Luigi and Domenico Pagani started working together in a “limited liability company for the management of the business of Cesare Sacconaghi and sons – Corbetta factory” based in Milan
1954

ESTABLISHMENT OF L.I.M.E.A. srl
A new name: the company becomes L.I.M.E.A. srl (the name stands for metal packaging and related processing in Italian) and moved from Milan to Corbetta

TRANSFORMATION INTO L.I.M.E.A. spa
Ready to face new challenges and achieve new goals, the company becomes a joint-stock company under the name L.I.M.E.A. spa

The company continues to grow, approving the merger by incorporation of Brisa-Fisma spa to create LIMEA-FISMA spa

Limea-Fisma S.p.A., Cavioni Fustitalia S.p.A. and Ferlatta Centro di Servizi S.p.A. form a corporate group. The new structure – which essentially maintains the same corporate structure – allows for an integrated and systematic management of the Group companies.
